M.A. SANTE [Better Access to Health Care] is a Cameroonian NGO based in Yaoundé, created in 2006 with the aim of contributing to improving access to health care in Cameroon through research, health training as well as the implementation of health interventions. Its activities are organized from its headquarters in Yaoundé and its decentralized sites based at the regional hospital of Kousseri (Extrême-Nord, Cameroon), at the CMA of Congo I (Douala, Cameroon), in the health district of Mogodé (Extrême -North, Cameroon) and the Dschang health district (West, Cameroon).

As part of its research capacity building program, M.A SANTE is looking for young people motivated to pursue a career in one of the fields of health research for a renewable period of 6 months. ; notably

• Exploration of the epidemiology of major health problems
• Evaluation of the efficiency and effectiveness of health care and intervention protocols
• Improving the performance of health systems
• Sociology of the demand for care
• Biostatistics and research ethics

Internship location : Yaoundé

Skills / Requirements / Qualities:

Be in their final year or hold a Master's or Doctorate in Epidemiology, Clinical Biology or Pharmacy, Medicine, Parasitology, Biostatistics, Medical Anthropology obtained less than 12 months.
