M.A. SANTE (Meilleur Accès aux Soins de Santé) is a Cameroonian NGO founded in 2006 and based in Yaoundé. It contributes to improving access to health care in Cameroon through research, training, and the implementation of health interventions.

Context

In order to strengthen the prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV and syphilis, the Ministry of Public Health, with the support of Evidence Action, is implementing an integrated program in health facilities across the ten regions. This program offers pregnant women HIV and syphilis screening, treatment of detected syphilis cases, and linkage of HIV-positive women to care services.

The project “Monitoring & Evaluation of the Cameroon Syphilis Screening and Treatment Program,” conducted by M.A. SANTE in collaboration with Evidence Action, aims to evaluate this program in order to produce evidence to guide decision-making and improve its efficiency. It is based on a survey conducted in the eligible services of selected health facilities.

Position to be filled

Dans ce cadre, M.A. SANTÉ recrute 20 enquêteurs de nationalité camerounaise.

Lieux de l’enquête

Les dix régions du Cameroun : Adamaoua, Centre, Est, Extrême-Nord, Littoral, Nord, Nord-Ouest, Ouest, Sud et Sud-Ouest.

Les enquêteurs :

Les enquêteurs seront chargés de :

• Participate in training on quantitative data collection tools/methods
• Interview targets using the language they are most comfortable with
• Collect data from targets using tablets
• Collect data in health facility registers
• Regularly check data quality after each interview
• Attend debriefing meetings
• Report to your supervisor as well as your hierarchy
• Develop a final data collection report

THE ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS :

• Être titulaire d’au-moins un Baccalauréat en démographie, statistique, santé publique ou domaine connexe
• Have proven experience in hospital and community based data collection
• Être capable de s’exprimer en français et en anglais, l’expression en arabe, pidgin et fulfulde serait un atout
• Avoir une bonne maîtrise des activités hospitalières,
• Have knowledge of one of the target regions of the study
• Être disponible pour une enquête de la période allant du 05 Octobre au 30 Octobre 2026
• Mastering data collection tools will be an asset (KOBO collect, ODK collect)

Composition of file :

The application file written in French or English will include

• A curriculum vitae of no more than two pages ;
