A significant portion of the burdens associated with health problems specific to vulnerable populations is associated with insufficient evidence for adequate response. The situation is more worrying in African context for infectious, epidemic prone, chronic and emerging diseases; sustainable access to effective medicines, vaccines and health interventions for the control of health problems. Since its creation, M.A. SANTE has been committed to contributing to the improvement of people's access to health care by conducting research projects targeting a number of priority areas including:

1-Prevention of epidemics and infectious diseases;

2-Access to medicines and vaccines;

3-Pharmacovigilance surveillance;

4-Access to drinking water, hygiene and environmental sanitation;

5-Fight against chronic diseases and cancer;

6-Health system and health care delivery;

7-Protection of research participants.
